Dogs need a well-balanced diet that includes all nutrients to remain healthy:
Proteins: Dogs need proteins to build their body tissues, and there are twenty-three types of amino acids that make up proteins. Their bodies can produce thirteen types of them, and the remaining ten must be obtained from food.
Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates help maintain a healthy dog's gut, and they can be found in vegetables and grains.
Fats: Fats provide energy for dogs, and maintain a healthy appearance of the skin and hair. Among these fats are omega-3 and omega-6.
Vitamins and minerals: They are important in completing many chemical reactions in the dog's body, such as building bones and keeping them strong, and among the important vitamins: vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, and B complex, in addition to the minerals calcium and phosphorous.
Water: You must make sure that there is clean water for dogs, as they are at risk of death if they lose a tenth of the amount of water that makes up their body.

Health care

Choosing a good and reliable veterinarian: Dogs need to be reviewed periodically by the doctor for some checks.
Vaccination: There are many important vaccinations, such as the rabies vaccination, and vaccinations against various diseases depending on the region.

Training for some commands

Sitting: sitting is a natural behavior for dogs that suggests that they are not aggressive, and it is also a good behavior when their owner is busy in something, and dogs can be taught to sit by uttering the word and indicating with the palm of the hand to sit, praising them and mentioning positive sentences when the matter is carried out, and repeating that while taking Considering that adult dogs will need a longer time to learn.
Staying in the same place: You can start teaching this matter from a sitting position, with saying "Stay here" while mentioning the dog's name, and standing next to it until the word is associated with the dog in the place, then placing the hand in front of his face so that the fingers are up and the palm of the hand is facing the face, and repeat “Stay here.” If the dog remains, he must be praised. But if he moves from his place, something must be said that indicates discontent, and that he did not implement what was asked of him.
Attendance at the call: By making the dog sit, then grabbing it and pulling it with saying the word "Come", and repeating that repeatedly. An encouraging factor such as a piece of its own dried food can be used.
